Planning Permission and Building Regulations for Stanford Hall Estate. The brief was to design and construct a building that would provide a large storage area for the Estates Manager; including equipment, a work shop area, office facilites, kitchen, toilets, shower and changing room. The building is located within the grounds of Stanford Hall Estate, Stanford on Soar. Whilst the building is not of listed status it is within the grounds of a listed building and therefore had to be designed to complement its surroundings and blend with its backdrop. Great care was taken by the design team to incorporate a variety of materials and colours to create a building that encompassed all the client's requirements whilst delivering a building with character that embraces its natural surroundings.
